Anthony Berryman was hospitalized in France after a recent health scare, and his wife Manon took to Instagram to explain just how chaotic the night really was.
According to Manon, Anthony is not the type of man who complains or shows pain, so when he suddenly became unable to walk and was visibly suffering, she knew something was seriously wrong. After calling emergency services, Anthony was taken to the hospital late at night, where doctors confirmed he was dealing with kidney stones. They told him the stones were small and should dissolve with strong medication, but he will need to return in two weeks for a CT scan to make sure they are gone. If they do not dissolve on their own, doctors will have to drain them, which is why the situation felt frightening even if the medical team reassured her it was more fear than actual danger.
Manon described the night as a complete mess. The entire village had electrical issues, with power outages every fifteen minutes and a full blackout lasting almost two hours. Her gate is fully electric, so she could not open it to let emergency services in, and she was panicking about how Anthony would even reach the hospital. Their son, Ben was fussy after waking up from a nap, Anthony was in severe pain, and Manon could not drive because of her epilepsy. She said she was overwhelmed and stressed until the power finally came back, allowing her to call emergency services and get Anthony picked up as fast as possible. It was one of those nights where everything goes wrong at once, and she admitted she was terrified watching Anthony struggle.
Despite being in so much pain he could barely walk, Anthony returned to work the next morning, something that frustrated Manon. She explained that in France, if you have hospital paperwork, you can stay home, rest, and still get paid. She said she begged him nicely, begged him harshly, tried to force him, but he simply refused to listen. He went straight back to work after spending the entire night in the hospital, ignoring the fact that he was supposed to take it easy and focus on recovering. Manon joked that she hates this stubborn trait about him, but it is exactly who he is.
By the end of her update, Manon reassured everyone that things are getting better. Anthony is home, taking his medication, and feeling a bit more stable. Ben slept well and is in a better mood, and Manon said they plan to relax for the day while a friend comes over. She thanked everyone for the messages and support, explaining that the night was stressful, scary, and exhausting, but they are grateful the situation was not worse. For now, Anthony will rest, follow his treatment, and prepare for his follow‑up scan in two weeks.
