Manon Berryman fell on her head after having a seizure, and her recent Instagram stories reveal just how serious and painful the episode was.
She explained to followers that she’s been dealing with a huge bump on her head, jaw pain, and a full side of her skull that still aches days later. The seizure was one of the worst she’s had in years, hitting her out of nowhere despite being epileptic since childhood. Manon said she’s been diagnosed since age seven, but her epilepsy started even earlier, and this latest attack left her shaken, weak, and struggling with vertigo multiple times a day.
According to Manon, the past five days have been spent mostly resting at home with her son, Ben, while her husband Anthony worked, because she can’t stand for long without feeling dizzy. She admitted she’s been sleeping, recovering, and trying to manage the constant spinning in her head. Even simple tasks like washing her hair or getting ready for the day have become challenges. She described her entire skull as sore, her body trembling, and her energy drained, making it difficult to film content or keep up with her usual routine.
Despite the pain, Manon told fans she’s determined to move slowly and make things work, even if filming will be tough for a while. Her honesty shows the reality of living with epilepsy — the unpredictability, the physical toll, and the long recovery after a severe seizure. She ended her update with a sigh, acknowledging that epilepsy “sucks,” but still trying to stay positive and push through the day.
