Things got ugly and violent between Colt and Jamal during the filming of 90 Day: The Single Life Tell All

  Kimberly Menzies’ emotional adoption story has become one of the most talked‑about arcs of the current 90 Day: The Single Life season. 


Long before she became a franchise regular, Kimberly revealed that she had given up two of her children for adoption decades before her son Jamal was born. She explained that her first child, Larry, was placed for adoption when she was only 21, overwhelmed, and unprepared to raise a baby alone while beginning her military career. Larry later found her through ancestry research, leading to an emotional reunion and the revelation that Jamal had siblings he never knew existed. This revelation deeply shook Jamal, who admitted he felt blindsided and struggled with trust after learning his mother had kept the secret for over 28 years. 

Kimberly is currently appearing on the newest season of 90 Day: The Single Life, where her adoption story continues to unfold on camera. Although the season is still airing, cast members have already confirmed that the Tell All has been filmed — and, as usual, it was explosive. During an interview with Access Hollywood, Kimberly teased that the reunion was filled with intense confrontations and emotional moments, especially surrounding her adoption reveal. 


She noted that most of the cast was surprisingly supportive of her decision and her honesty, but she couldn’t share more due to her NDA.

What Kimberly did reveal, however, is that her son Jamal ended up in a heated and “big explosive confrontation” with fellow cast member Colt Johnson — a franchise figure known for inserting himself into drama and provoking other castmates with his blunt, often offensive commentary. Kimberly gave the impression that Colt disrespected her adoption choices, triggering Jamal to step in and defend his mother. She added that things escalated quickly and turned ugly, with tensions spilling over into other cast conflicts, including a major new reveal involving Liz Woods and additional drama between multiple cast members. Kimberly promised that fans can expect one of the most chaotic Tell Alls yet, filled with exactly the kind of confrontations viewers anticipate every season.
