The fundraiser explains that the family is facing significant financial strain as they try to stay close to the hospital, manage travel, cover medical‑related expenses, and take time off work to care for Perry during this long recovery. So far, the GoFundMe has received 30 donations totaling $1,531, and Stevi expresses hope that more supporters will chip in so her father can continue receiving the care he needs. She emphasizes that every contribution helps ease the burden and gives Perry the best possible chance at healing after such an intense and exhausting surgery. 

Stevi also shares deep gratitude toward the donor family whose selfless act made the transplant possible, calling their gift nothing short of life‑saving. She thanks everyone who has prayed, checked in, or offered kind words, saying the support means the world to their family during this difficult time.
