Recently, the Silva twins once again made headlines after flying back to Turkey for their fifth round of cosmetic surgeries and a full body makeover, reportedly timed right after receiving their TLC checks from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.
While the twins have long been open about their love for plastic surgeries, this latest trip sparked a wave of backlash from fans who worry about the toll repeated surgeries are taking on their health. The decision also drew sharp criticism from fellow cast members, most notably Scott Wern, who has become increasingly vocal about the negative impact reality TV has on participants’ mental well‑being.
On fan page *TheRealityTvMess*, Scott — often referred to by fans as “Escott” — left a comment arguing that TLC should be held accountable for the mental states of the people they cast, rather than exploiting them for ratings. He suggested that cast members should undergo yearly psychological evaluations to ensure they are fit to handle the pressures of reality television. Scott admitted he feels sympathy for the Silva twins, pointing out that their repeated appearances on the franchise have only worsened their struggles with body dysmorphia and other mental health challenges.
In the last couple of years, Escott revealed that he himself underwent plastic surgeries after his time on the show, describing how TLC’s exploitative practices left him vulnerable to the same pressures.
