Rob Gives an Update on Sophie's Green Card Situation Amid Their Divorce

Rob Warne recently opened up about his ex-wife Sophie Sierra’s Green Card situation, subtly hinting that the delay in their divorce may have played a role in her securing a 10-year Green Card.

In a recent interview with Parade, Rob did not directly accuse Sophie of using their marriage for immigration benefits, but his choice of words suggested that their prolonged separation worked in her favor. He explained that despite their relationship struggles, the legal process of their divorce took longer than expected, which coincidentally aligned with Sophie’s ability to obtain permanent residency. While Rob maintained a neutral stance, his tone and phrasing led fans to speculate that he was implying Sophie benefited from the delay, whether intentionally or not.

Throughout the interview, Rob reflected on the timeline of his relationship with Sophie and how her immigration status evolved during their marriage. He pointed out that when they first got together, Sophie was on a K-1 visa, which required her to marry within 90 days to stay in the U.S. However, as their marriage progressed and eventually deteriorated, the divorce proceedings dragged on, allowing Sophie to meet the necessary requirements for a 10-year Green Card.

Rob’s comments were carefully worded, avoiding direct accusations, but the underlying message was clear—he believed that their prolonged legal separation may have helped Sophie secure her permanent residency in the United States. Anyone who watches the interview will quickly pick up on this implication and will conclude that Sophie had planned this outcome with her immigration lawyer, Kelsey Zubkoff.
