Jasmine reveals why she cannot take her daughter, Matilda, to Panama

Jasmine Pineda recently found herself addressing the topic of her children once again after fans pressured her during a TikTok live stream.

The mother of three made it clear that she has never given up on bringing her two boys from Panama to the United States, but she urged her followers to be more understanding of the current political climate in the country. Jasmine pointed out that the U.S. is currently facing a tense situation regarding Latino immigrants, with deportations happening regardless of legal status. This reality has made her deeply fearful of traveling back to Panama, as she worries that she could be denied reentry into the U.S. due to complications surrounding her marriage to Gino and the way she obtained her green card. The uncertainty surrounding her immigration status has left her feeling trapped, unable to take the risk of visiting her sons without jeopardizing her future in the country.

Adding to her concerns, Jasmine shared that her American-born daughter, Matilda, is another reason she cannot afford to take any risks. She admitted that if she were to leave for Panama and be denied reentry, she would be separated from Matilda indefinitely—a situation she simply cannot bear. However, taking Matilda with her is not an option either, as her father, Matt, refuses to allow their daughter to travel without him. Jasmine acknowledged that attempting to take Matilda to Panama without Matt’s consent would put her in serious legal trouble, further increasing her chances of deportation. This heartbreaking dilemma has left Jasmine feeling stuck, unable to reunite with her sons without risking her ability to stay in the U.S. and be with her daughter.

For Jasmine, the safest path forward is securing her permanent green card, which would allow her to bring her two boys to the U.S. without fear of losing everything she has built. Any other option would be far too risky, potentially destroying her life and her chances of a happy future in America. She remains hopeful that she will find a way to reunite her family, but until then, she continues to navigate the difficult reality of being a mother torn between two worlds. Despite the challenges, Jasmine is determined to fight for her children and create a stable life where they can all be together, free from the uncertainty that has plagued her journey.
