Mahmoud was arrested for d0mestic vi0lence against Nicole and could be deported

Mahmoud El Sherbiny from The Other Way season 4 has been arrested in Los Angeles for d0mestic vi0lence against his American wife Nicole. In May 2023, the Egyptian arrived to the United States on a spousal visa, while simultaneously filming for the new season 8 of Happily Ever After.

The signs of a potential domestic violence situation were there, even when the couple were together in Egypt. During one episode of The Other Way season 4, the couple had a heated argument in public and Mahmoud kept violently grabbing Nicole's arm to make her stop walking away from him. The American had no choice but to shove Mahmoud's chest after he refused to let her go. If that type of behavior happened on Camera, then imagine what was happening behind closed doors.

According to InTouch Magazine, Mahmoud was arrested on February 20, 2024, and charged with alleged misdemeanor d0mestic vi0lence. He was arrested in downtown Los Angeles and one of his friends took care of his $20,000 bail later that evening.

The disturbing news about the arrest came one week after TLC released the trailer of season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, which feature Mahmoud and Nicole as a returning couple. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans on social media were not surprised by what happened. A Reddit user wrote:" He was so obviously an abusive a**hole. It was terrifying to see how casual he was about it in front of the cameras. I’m glad he was arrested ", and another one who shares the same opinion added:" Well, I'm not surprised. The only reason he didn't hit her on their season is because the cameras were around. You could see in his face".

In case Nicole doesn't drop the charges and Mahmoud gets convicted, he will be deported from the country, because that's what happens when a Non US citizen is convicted of such crime.
