While in Nigeria, Angela gave an update about her and Michael and their potential return to the show

It's a fact that if not for TLC, Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi would've split up a long time ago. No one expected their long-distance romance and then marriage to last, because in real life, people won't be that patient and stay in such relationship. This shows that some people will do anything to be famous, even as a D-list celebrity on a trashy reality tv show. Angela Deem has been milking her marriage for years now to be on TV. It helped her to earn money and get free stuff without having to work a 9 to 5 job, since she has become a public figure, with a large social media following.

It's been 3 weeks since Angela returned to Nigeria, where her husband Michael currently resides. The United States, as well as certain other countries, consider Nigeria to be a high-risk country, which explains why Michael's visa was delayed many times, and probably will never be granted. The US embassy wants to ensure, that Nigerian men are not getting married to American citizens for the wrong reasons. The 22 year age gap between the TLC couple is one big red flag and obstacle, that is stopping Michael's visa from getting approved.

The couple most recently attempted to resolve their marital troubles on 90 Day: The Last Resort with the assistance of professional therapists. They ultimately chose to remain married, and now, they are doing their best to make things work between them, by spending some much needed time together. That was one of the main reasons, why Angela decided to make a long stay trip to Nigeria, as soon as she finished filming for the spin off show.

During a recent live stream on Angela's TikTok's account, the couple were dressed casually and sitting at Michael's home, while chatting and speaking to their fans. When asked about Michael's visa, Angela said that they still don't know the status of Michael's spousal visa, or whether he'll be able to move to America with her in the near future.

Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After was set to premiere in early 2024. The Reality tv network announced in December 2023, that Happily Ever After's new season 8 will premiere on Sunday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET. Nicole and Mahmoud El Sherbiny were recently sighted filming in the United States, and will be part of the cast lineup for this new season. Whether the fans like it or not, there is a 50/50 chance that Angela and Michael will be also cast in the 8th season of Happily ever after.
