Kris didn't tell the full truth about her son's arrest

Kris Foster is one of the least popular cast members from 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way season 4. During the Season finale, the 40 year old said that she couldn't make it to Jeymi's birthday in Colombia because her son was arrested.  Which was true, her son Dayne was arrested on April 28, 2022, according to Alabama court documents. He was charged with felony controlled substance possession and criminal Fentanyl trafficking. However, that was not the full truth, there is more to the story.

Dayne was released on April 30 after posting a $50,000 bond. It's doesn't look like the young man has hired a public defender, as he has a retained counsel listed for him. The first criminal case was filed in District Court, and the most current docket entry indicated that the case was settled by waiving the grand jury. That means the matter will almost certainly be sent to the Circuit Court for an indictment and subsequent proceedings.

The timing of Dayne's arrest raises certain doubts. It's possible that Kris' son was filmed on The Other Way after his arrest and release and not before. It was mentioned on the show that he was 18 years old. He had only recently turned 19 when he was arrested back in April 2022. It's difficult to think they'd choose to participate in one of the world's most successful and talked about reality TV franchises while facing a Fentanyl trafficking allegation and without knowing the court outcome.

Dayne faces prison time for the charges, but things could have been a lot worse. Alabama just enacted legislation toughening penalties for Fentanyl trafficking. The bill, which was only enacted last month, calls for a minimum ten year prison sentence with at least three years spent for Fentanyl trafficking. If someone gets caught with eight grams or more of marijuana, he or she might face life in prison. All of these problems of her son with the law are maybe the main reasons why Kris was broke during her relationship with Jeymi. It costs serious money To keep a guilty person out of prison.

When it comes to Kris and Jeymi, the lack of money is the not their only problem. On Sunday's season finale of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Kris and Jeymi's frequent fighting reached a frightening turn. Kris returned to Colombia after months of rarely interacting with Jeymi while she was in Alabama, and the two reunited before splitting up after an explosive dispute that turned physical when Kris violently pushed her Colombian wife out of the cab because she wouldn't stop talking.
