90 Day Fiancé: Mohamed lost & Yve Arellano’s assault & battery case dismissed

After a dramatic divorce, 90 Day Fiancé star Mohamed accused his ex-wife Yve of domestic abuse hoping that being a victim will help him get his green card easier, but Yve may finally rest easy because the court has ruled that she is innocent.

Yvette Arellano of 90 Day Fiancé is celebrating a major victory in an alleged domestic abuse case against Mohamed Abdelhamed. Yve, 48, appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 9 and introduced her much younger Egyptian fiancé Mohamed, 26. Yve and Mohamed met over Instagram direct messages, and Yve quickly brought Mohamed to the United States to get married after the 90 days. Mohamed's mentality shifted upon his arrival; he was bothered by Yve's clothes and her proximity to males. The biggest surprise in the plot was his being exposed for cheating with another woman.

Yve Arellano was charged with domestic abuse and battery in August 2022, shortly after screenshots of text messages between Mohamed and his mystery woman were revealed. According to the Starcasm.net news website, prosecutors decided to withdraw the assault and battery allegations filed by her estranged husband Mohamed following the claimed confrontation. In Albuquerque, Yve was charged with one count of battery on a household member and one count of assault against a household member. Yve's representative disputed the charges of domestic abuse at the time. According to court documents in New Mexico, the accusations were dismissed without prejudice on February 9.

On Instagram, few 90 day fiancé fan pages announced that 90 Day Fiancé cast member Yve's lawsuit had been dropped, which pleased all of her fans. "Bye Mohamed from Egypt," one of the fans wrote on one of the Instagram posts. "I am not one to wish people were deported, but he came here with fraudulent intentions," someone else added, while another commented, "Real justice will not be accomplished until he is deported." "Has he been deported yet?", but only Mohamed can answer that question. Mohamed, who seems to be laying low at the moment on Instagram and allegedly deactivated his page to not receive any hate messages from fans who are Yve's supporters. One TLC viewer worried if Mohamed might still obtain "citizenship under VAWA" regardless of whether Yve is convicted or not. Note that both men and women can apply for the VAWA citizenship.

The 90 day fiancé fans criticized Yve's inability to recognize that Mohamed never loved her. In the case of this 90 Day Fiancé pair, love appears to be genuinely blind. When news of Yve's supposed arrest broke, her representative stated the domestic abuse claims were false. They accused Mohamed of conspiring with the woman with whom he had been cheating in order to stay in America. According to the spokesperson, Mohamed discussed a possible U-Visa with his fiancée so that he could still qualify in case Yve discovered his plans.

Meanwhile, as we mentioned above, Mohamed took a break from social media and we have no idea when he will be back. He posted a video of himself singing on Instagram and assured a follower that he was working hard and had multiple jobs in the United States. Mohamed's last update was in January 2023, when he showed off his new haircut at a Cleveland, Tennessee salon. Mohamed hasn't been seen on Instagram since, thus his current location is unknown. It's also unknown whether Yve or Mohamed will return in 90 Day Fiancé, but one thing is certain, the 90 day fiancé fans don't want to see him ever again on any of the future spin-off shows.
