Jenny Slatten ’s emotional ALS announcement has now been followed by a major fundraising effort, as her friend Penny Minincleri launches a campaign seeking 250,000 USD to support Jenny’s rapidly increasing medical needs. Penny explains that Jenny has been diagnosed with bulbar-onset Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis , and although she is still in the early stages, she is already experiencing changes in her voice, slurred speech, and difficulty swallowing. With ALS being a progressive and unforgiving disease, the fundraiser aims to help Jenny prepare for the escalating care she will require.
